First of all, thanks to everyone that inspired me to create this website and continue the legacy of what we started at the EXOcommunity. Some of us may have some sour feelings about how things ended up there, but I think that he best way to look at it is that we found a good group of people to talk technology with, and made some friends along the way. I, for one, am excited to watch this new era of our community grow. <shameless plug> So, tell your family and friends to sign up at TouchTabletCommunity.com and start chatting away in the forum! </shameless plug>
Secondly, the purpose of this blog is to be a sister page to the News Feed, which itself is an amalgamation of tablet based news from many different news and technology websites, via a Google news feed. I'm going to try and use the blog as a way to highlight some of the more interesting or important news with my own articles, which will simultaneously be posted in the forum so that we may discuss the topics as a community. (By the way: If you want to submit an appropriate article for this blog page, I am more than happy to post it! With the writing credit going to yourself, of course. Just submit it and your forum name to dreamcat@gmail.com.)
Finally. I welcome you to TouchTabletCommunity.com's beta stage. In early 2013 we'll be improving things here; including an HTML5 based design, allowing the site to look and work the same on mobile phones, non-Flash tablets, and RT Win8 machines as it does now with standard desktop browsing. I'm also in the early stages of planning a Tablet Directory. A list or wiki of sorts, showing the available tablets out there, with some basic info. Who knows what else we could do with this community, but I am always open to suggestions!
